WE'RE MAKING A CONTEST
And you get to vote on the theme and the prizes (which are going to be upcoming or newly released video games)!
HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO WHAT I DON'T
You had a few days to nominate what you want and how you want to get it. We're take the ones that seem like the most fun/best ones etc. and letting you vote for them.
We're going to be offering a digital download of a game (or possibly a hard-copy order, details will follow on that if need be). You guys need to pick what games you're excited about so you can get it for free.
We also want a theme for the contest so you'll be working on something the community will be hyped about. What will it be for? A game? An art contest? A music contest? You don't know! We just want a theme for a thing that you will do! Vote vote!
WHAT WERE THE RULES FOR NOMINATIONS
For GAMES:
- For NON-INDIE GAMES (e.g., games by Blizzard, Valve, Squeenix, etc.), it must be a game with a release date of November 1st, 2010 -through- January 30th, 2011.
- For INDIE GAMES (e.g., Samarost titles, Minecraft, flash games, etc.), it must be a game that costs money to download. Release date doesn't matter.
For THEMES:
- Nothing pornographic or adult-related (including obvious innuendos or curse words).
- Can be meme-related so long as it's an HBGames meme.
- Can be a person, place, thing, or concept. (e.g., Charles Barkley, Your Attic, A Plush Godzilla Toy, Friendship)
- Should be something you think people of this community would get excited about.
