Demons and Dollies

But should a demon really be child appropriate? :p

I can see it now, a young girl holding an icon of evil close to her breast "I wuv you catooloo"

Good parenting ftw

edit

That spawn plushie is fantstic

Plushies are ... beyond my comprehension. Really. I've seen them for Adolf Hitler.

Seriously, now. Can't people occupy their time some other way? Like, anything besides making small stuffed trinkets of ruthless dictators and demons?

BTW mascarpone, that's not spawn, if you're referring to Yeyinde's post. It's one of them funky aliens from that one movie.. I think Predator.

What's wrong with a demonic dolly? I've had little demon teddy bears when I was like 3. I've had grim reaper dolls -oh I forgot, I'm supposed to call them action figures - when a child.
If my parents were capable of giving me for my birthday an ax that sprayed fake blood before the age of 10, and still grow up normally (on top of the various demonic memorabilia I had as a tyke) what's wrong with a plush?

Especially since I bet that was really more or so intended for the teens and adults - like how the rubber ducky with a mouth gag and leather spiked vest (and the other one with the red hand prints on it's butt, and the handcuff on it's wings) are meant for an older crowd who just like funny cute little things.

Make something cute, cuddly, and funny and you instantly make it not scary or threatening. If your kid is scared of something, buy him a plush toy of it. It works.

That's true.
My older sister used to be afraid of Chucky, from Child's Play back before they ruined the series. I ended up getting a little Chucky doll and she eventually got used to it, and it didn't scare her anymore.
