Off Topic (just a bit) - *Crying at having KH2 spoiled by him for so many incosiderate people who don't know how to spoiler tag stuff* It's not there for convinience it's there to tag SPOILERS, you think people would have realised but they're such fanatics that they can't leave enjoyment to other players (preferabbly in Europe where it's yet to be released)

First piece of advice and foremost is to go to recruitment and post a thread looking for spriters, voice actors people to do battlers and people to do a few scripts (although I know for a fact that there is already an excellent Kingdom Hearts CBS out there somewhere) you can check the download manager if there's anything there on KH but I doubt it.

Second is that you should have got the sprites you wanted editted them into the game got a decent tileset or two and then made a trailer from them and the new project thread, the people here are ruthless (as you now know) take FFX-3 for an example they had no chance and only got advice at the end from ccoa who shut it down before it became an even bigger spam hole. Anyways

Thrid is that you should definitely take off the voice overs like someone (can't be fucked to go back and see who) said they were terrible and they are, hire someone to do them who actually sounds like them it'll help.

Fourth I have a load of KH and FF sprites that you can work from but I think that you should have your sprites like in CoM because it will have a more 3D feel (one of the things that attracted me to CoM so many years ago) you should also add pixel movement but I'm not sure if it wll work with any CoM tilesets.

Fifth the story line should be rethought because (excluding me as I haven't played KH2 yet *grrr*) A LOT of KH fans have been complaining that it doesn't work and if it doesn't have a really good reason, I mean so good people will think that it actually works rather than that there is no chance in hell of it working then change it and you should probably recruit a writer (there's one on sale (not literally)) to help you with dialouge and the story, I'm a writer so I'll help you if you want (but wait it'll probably spoil the whole of KH2) Whatever I already know up to CoM anyways.

Six - Take the video off youtube (if you can never tried) and fix it up, donate at least half a minute to credit everyone (scripts the people who did the KH:CoM sprite rips, scripts etc..), cut it down because you have too much revealed in it (eg there is a meeting between the new organisation you made up and the old and they have a battle and (can't remeber her name the blond haired bitch that uses thunder) is in both scenes so we know that they stab them in the back) I think you should have a short bit of the battle system, a short bit from the story and features then if you still want the snake bit add it but have a good reason for him being there and have him fit into the world (In Snake eater he's in a jungle, in Sons of Liberty a tanker, In the first one he's on a nuclear waste disposal place. In the SNES one it's a jungle and Outer Heaven I think so do one of those five places (notice how I don't spoil half the game)) Personally I think you should get info on the SNES one in Outer Heaven and do there because it's the first 'Outer Heaven' type place, in MGS 1 thay say that Shadow Moses is a copy of Outer Heaven I think can't remember and in MGS2: SoL/S
Ocelot said that the entire big shell bit was just a simulation of Shadow Moses

So that means it's a copy of Outer Heaven technically.

P.S Redattacker said that Snake owns in any game, would you buy a game like Metal Gear Ac!d just because he's in it? I wouldn't...anyways

Hmm, while I agree with most of the comments here, I do have one thing to say.
I think maybe, the game is some sort of dream that takes place whilst Sora is in "stasis"? That could be it. Anyways, I'm a pretty big KH fan, but I doubt I'll download this game when/if it's finished. Maybe if you just do the sprites for all of your unoriginal characters in the RTP style it might work. As for the trailer, i could watch more than a minute of it, frankly, sorry. If you work hard at it(And stop being so presumptuous.) it might work out well. :|
 
First - SNES/NES it's all the same to me

Second - I have all the KH sprites you have and I can just tell that Sephiroth and Barret are going to be frozen in the same place as the Barret one has only one sprite and the Sephiroth has like five. The only character I see moving around is Sora in his various suits mainly black and yeah just black.
I looked at the screenshots and the FF7 sprites just won't fit the rest of the game, also the battle background is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big.

I think you should freeze on map making and the trailer and stuff, get the sprites etc that you need then come back when it will look perfected, because if it doesn't your idea (no matter how good it is) will be made to look shite. I don't think that this game is rubbish it's just looks rushed (A LOT!!!!!!).

P.S Get a very good clear microphone if you want it to sound good

EDIT: The stairs can be done very simply just make two copies of them on one tileset and then set the values differently on the different stairs one for the front and one for the back stairs, then mold them together when you map and they should work.

But I think you should put a team together for this. Like your maps are not wonderful but you should just build like a basic map and have someone detail it.

And just a question, how will this go on psp? I thought psp could only read C and C++.

Also it's nice you put a trailer. But my attention span is too short to watch it all.
 
A few pages back someone explained the whole psp thing and yes it isn't going on psp so like that person (no idea who it is) said that should be removed from the first post...

From what i've seen from the trailer, the maps are too empty and too big in space... Use character sets of same sizes... And if you're using CoM sprites, use an isometric movement or isometric map too because i dont like the look of the characters moving sidewrds... :( I hope you get more spriters!
