Death Note 2: The Last Name

I found out that it's actually two movies. The second one is called "The Last Name".

It's Live-Action...

I have and so far it's pretty good, but it jumps around a lot and is a little hard to follow at first. It's also incredibly fast [which is expected as it is a movie and doesn't have the luxury of time like an anime].

So what does every one else think?

I saw the 2 movies. I have to say I am impressed. Very good actors and plot (I prefer this ending). But the soundtrack should be bigger, it lacked music in some crucial parts.
And if you haven't seen the anime or read the manga you won't understand a bit of it.

 

[Zankoku no Yami]

Oh God, those movies were horrible... the acting was horrible, the characters stunck and i totally hated the ending to the second movie. Not only did it fail above all else in logic (seriously, there are just some rules that a certain someone shouldnt have known about but did anyways) but the way both movies were carried out was horrible.

Most of all, the ending was the biggest dissapointment i've had in ages.

Even the anime's ending was far better; and even that burtchered the manga's ending.

Safe to say, these were the worst live action movies i've seen in a while (counting I dont watch many asian ones, but really, if i was bored, i was pissed at how stupid it was).

Amazingly, Japan fails me when it comes to live action movies. But dominates the market on animation.

Bad acting? Are you serious? You made me laugh. And that ending was very good, just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean it's bad. It's different, if I was to see the same things I saw in the anime, it would've been a waste of time seeing the movie.
