Dada Life is a prominent Swedish electro house duo, consisting of Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom.
Ok so, I've known Dada Life for quite a while now (not personally).
First song I heard of them was called Fun Fun Fun, which has quite a different style than the tracks they perform with now, it was more laidback house instead of electro house. They kind of dropped off my radar about two years ago, after listening to a lot of tracks of theirs.
So a couple of days ago, my brother got home from Pukkelpop, a Belgian hosted festival, that features mostly electronic music. He isn't really into electronic music so I was wondering what he thought of the festival. It's 180 euro's per ticket (for his 3-day ticket) so if he had a bad time, that would've been a waste of money.
So when he got home, I asked him about the acts, and what did he think was the best act. He told me he knew about three of the artists in the line-up, but he had the most amazing time, and Dada Life was definetely the best act.
So this got me interested, I looked up footage from said festival, and was pleasantly surprised, Dada Life kicked up their act, also the venue looks amazing, I'll go there too next year. It's one tent out of 6? tents and a main stage.
I found out that they'll be releasing a new album in about four days from now, and that they've been putting some teasers online, which contain good doses of humor and tracks. Not full tracks, more like something close to snippets, but still funny:
