Cutscene Movement Freeze

1. Yes I have searched the forum, and have not found exactly what i needed. It did answer some of my problems, but not this one specificly. (Forgive me if I'm wrong, I checked last about 30 min prior to this post.)

2. The problem: The cutscene in question has two events, set up like this:

What is going on: During the scene, the second party member (Sophia) is placed on the map next to the player. Near the end, this piece of the event is supposed to make Sophia rejoin the player, supposedly "walking" into him and then disapearing. Yes, Through IS checked during her move route. But the problem is that she doesn't disapear when "Wait for Movement Completion" is checked and AutoRun stays in effect. However, if I remove Wait For Movement Completion, she moves as planned, AutoRun turns off, but the player can move before Sophia can, leading to an odd experience. It isn't fatal nor does the game complain with errors, but it is definetly odd.

Is there a way I can fix this, or should I just ignore it and move on?
(p.s. If the imageshack link doesn't work, my bad. Im new at this.)

"Wait for Movement Completion" is not good for Auto run and Parallel process events.
Just replace it with "Wait" command - you just have to fit it to the event's move speed (frames that are needed to make one step - Move Down).

The Wait for Move's Completion is a generally dangerous event comment regardless of the triggering conditions.
It waits for the completion of all movement started by Set Move Routes. (It does not way for autonomous movement)
If you have a repeating moving or have an event which gets stuck without you having checked the ignore if can't move check box in the Set Move Route dialog then the Wait for Move's Completion never stops waiting.

*hugs*
