Custom Keyboard Input

Ello, me 'n a buddy are working on a project and have come across a couple of issues. For the most part however, it's completely working.

For one, none of the hex or ASCII values on an particular website seem to be accurate, and secondly, the values we attempt to borrow from other scripts do not fully function properly. If needed i can supply the script for critique, but we are more so looking for a valid hex / ASCII chart that entirely maps out the whole keyboard, as in left shift, right shift, upper case a, lower case a, and etc..

Thanks for the feedback in advance!

Well, ive been working on it some more since you left yesterday, and ive figured out that for some reason, if I hold the keys that werent working, for usually between 5 to 10 seconds, eventually it will say its working... its really quite weird. The only thing i can think of is that our code is too slow, and isnt catching all the keys all the time, but it uses less code than the other keyboard scripts, so it should actually be faster. It wouldnt have to do with the fact that we are using a hash to store our values would it? That it takes longer to read and compair a hash than it does to read and compair normal variables. I really dont know, it was just my thought process at the time. Ill continue to work on it.

(Ill call you sometime later in the week, maybe two heads will be better than one. :grin01:
