Basically, I spent a while just making random icons when I got bored, you can guess the sort of order they were made in by the style and the detail taken for each one.

Hey not bad on the shields and swords. If you made a 4-way direction of each they would suit well to a 16-bit zelda game.

hmm they're all not too bad but the lighter looks blurry as though it's been resized. Might want to remake that one.

Nice icons, I like the weapons and variety of shields, oh, and Raven, that's not a lighter that's 2 dice, you can notice the five dots on this side :p.
