Curse you, variable player transfers!!! (Resolved)

It seems I've come accross a problem. I have a autorun event that will send the player to another room, turn on a switch, and go back again. Then the autorun event will disapear. But, since the player's location varies, I have it record the proper variables for the player's X, Y, and Map ID, then have the transfer event go off of those variables. No problem, right? Well, I tested it out in game and when the player came back, he was in some location in top-left area of the screen! Any help is appreciated. Here's a screenshot of the event:

I'm not really sure what the problem is from the information given.  You're going to need a screenshot of the event where you record the variables and also of the event where you execute the transfer using the variables.

KRoP, I've just made a similar event to the one in your screenshot using my copy of RPG Maker, and the event seemed to work just fine for me, though I did assign the X & Y variables to the "Player MAP X" and "Player MAP Y", as Regi suggested, instead of using Screen X/Y.  It's weird that it wouldn't work for you, though.  I wonder if you should try stripping down the event to just the transfer function, and see if that works.

So all your event would do is assign the three variables (Map ID, Player Map X, Player Map Y), transfer the player somewhere random (preferably a new map that doesn't have any of its own events, in case something is causing a conflict), wait a few seconds, then transfer back to the map using the three variables.  Good luck!
