currupt game issue

Hey HB game members I have ran into an issue that recently just happend
I was deciding to work on my game the other day and when I opened it up.. all my events switches and variables have all been auto reset with
other switches.

its kinda weird

all my events in my game all have the same switches activated. as if someone opened my editor and completely ruined my game..
when I restart my computer this issues goes away for about 5mins then my rpg maker vx ace gets all currupted again

has anyone ever had this happen to them before? is it a virus or something? i've spent over 100Hrs into this im completely sad heart broken this has happen

please help me im freaking out.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you sure you're opening the right project, not an old version?

This is one of many maps I have in my game... you see all those events?




All those events have been corrupted some how im completely blown away on how this happened.. each event has this shown inside. you notice how the check boxes are not even clicked WTF? how are the switches even showing...? The right picture is what the door should look like.




Again all my events on that map. are all glitched right out.. all have that same pattern of switches and self switches turned on. When I restart my computer and reopen my game file.. it seems to be ok for like 2mins then the corruption kicks in.. I was able to compress my game data quickly. but I have yet to install it and see if that worked.

I'm not sure why this would be. Looking at the screenshots though, maybe you have to tick the checkboxes, I'm not sure.

Edit: if the boxes aren't ticked it shouldn't be a problem, right?

Might look in your data folder and see if anything has been modified. Do you have a habit of making duplicates or backups? Or working with someone else that would require you to copy and send those data files?
Sorry, I don't have any kind of solution that would restore it other than copying stuff from a backup.

Its not corrupt. Its doing what its spposed to do. heyre not checked. test it, see if it works. its just not grayed out because you dont the thing yet.

its ok I fixed the issue. I just redownload the rpg maker ace program. and open my project within it..

my other programs are messed .. I don't think its suppose to be like that.. but yah all fixed thanks for the help on this weird issue I
was having. im pretty happy that its fixed. or else I wasted many years making my program

can' t wait for all of you to play our game.. (Society - life is corrupt)
