Copy Protect Text on a Web Page

Ok, I have an...almost simple question.

Is it possible to make text on a web page not able to be copied?

I have searched on Google, and I have found that this is not truly possible, but was hoping there might be someone here that could help me out. I know of the no right click scripts, but they only seem to work on IE, I am trying for something that works on all browsers. I have also tried a couple of encryptors, but since they were only free versions, they put an unattractive banner at the top of the pages that were encrypted.

My main goal is to at least make it hard to copy text off of certain pages to show that I mean what I say about not copying my works, pages, or text.

There is no way to stop text being copied. (If it can be read, it can be copied)

You could implement a no right click script but it is very easy to get around that (I personally always browse sites with javascript turned off anyway so it would have no effect there).

You could write out your text on images I guess.

Even images can be transcribed by OCR applications... unless you intentionally obscure the text (a la CAPTCHA).

The only way to effectively copy protect your text is to hire some lawyers to track down and prosecute anybody infringing on your copyright. That said, I doubt you would really have any problems as long as you can say it's obvious where the text came from. Who is going to steal it?
