if mc didn't feel like a circlejerk between you, me, and cruelty it certainly should now! as CONGRATS i will here post some old songs for the enjoyment of the great unwashed. they are MIDIS but suck my dick cuzzzz
this first batch is a FULL ALBUM which is pretty cool imo. the songs are all whacky and some of them require several strings to be broken while playing before the song can successfully be completed but imo they are all pretty tight. definitely niche, though! also lyrics are HERE - they are mostly weirdscreams though stuff in quotation marks and the entirety of track 6 are clean. they tell the story of a girl who has the idea of gathering balloons in order to fly up and visit god, whereupon she discovers that heaven has been attacked by satan and god (a large jellyfish) is currently on the brink of death. the last song's lyrics aren't finished but the basic idea is god sortof adopts her and decides to send her on a quest to AVENGE HIS DEATH (these events are detailed in the second album, which i've yet to finish).
ella umbrella and the rainy day clouds
"dear god, can i meet you if i'm carrying enough balloons?"
01 guns guns guns
02 animal rights movement theme song
03 fear not! nazis are no challenge for the amazing biscuit man
04 freddie prinze jr. faces off against the ruthless armies of betty boop
05 what.mid
06 madagascar will burn before the night is through
07 i got mad balloons can i go yet
this second batch is just three songs from a weird post-rock/grunge/doom/drone/americana faster-earth-with-singing-and-more-layers project called TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN which i'd really like to finish but probably won't for a while. the titles are all laughably pretentious but the songs are really good imo! none of them have lyrics though.
turtles all the way down
"i wage war against the great and terrible ocean and the rivers it gives my enemies"
02 you were there, on the steps of the foreverhouse
04 embracing instability for the preservation of the words in the grass
06 i will construct a pillar from your name and you shall carry the weight of my word
so yeah 'grats HERE'S A CAKE MADE OUT OF MUSIC
