A custom menu?

btw your script is nice i am trying to make it so you access it from the menu i have done this add when i leave the settings it reverts to the orignal settings...
This what i mean:

New Game
Load game
Exit
Settings :this is the menu...

i then go to it chage the window skin and everything leave and i back at the title screen
then it is back to the orignal settings how o i make it save the settings for the game...

In the title the configuration doesnt work because it is loaded by a save file.
