Concept sketch and some quick coloring, C&C

I haven't had a lot of time to work on my RPG as of late because of a new job and some other busy things, but the other day I got around to drawing some concept art for one of my characters. This is Russell, aka Silas, the gritty anti-hero character of the story. Just wanted to get some general feedback/critiquing on the drawing itself--the colored version I know has some work to be done, but I threw it together quickly today to see how it looked.

Have at thee. I was looking to potentially use the finished product as a faceset, think that would work?

Another character from my RPG. I feel like this one turned out fine, but I could be mistaken. The drawing is a little sloppier for sure, though.

Something a little different, but still concept art.

NEW: A sad attempt at life drawing. :(

That looks really good I like the expression, The ears could be made bigger so that there bottoms were aligned with the bottom of the nose, the placement of the left ear is good but try redrawing it to match the right ear more, to increase symmetry.

Thanks for the c/c; I'll work on the ears some. I'm assuming that you meant pin the left (his right) ear back more so it didn't stick out quite so much?

The protagonist of my RPG in the works, Kurt. I didn't spend as much time on the drawing for this one and I actually had to make some in-Photoshop adjustments to the lineart to get it to look right.

Truckers?

Well, I was doodling today and decided to not draw truckers. Here is another piece of doodled concept art with several anatomical problems now that I'm looking at it again. Somewhat inspired by Shadow Strike.

Well, by truckers the classic stereotype of a southern large built man, with checkered clothing and that jolly accent and what not.
Yeah, they do look like them.

The girl is nicely done, but mainly her right arm is what stands to be the best. Her form should be a little more fluid (think s-bend or more curvy in way of pose), and the fact that her feet are pointed inwards is a bit uncomfortable.

Love the boots, that drawing really reminds me of my older works.

Yeah, I kinda felt like it might've been a little awkward, but I was so caught up in coming up with stuff for the boot that I didn't really think about it. There's little spots like those all over the place that make me really wince now that I'm looking at it a lot.

Well, once again back in the vein of truckers, here's a "real" trucker, Josh Beckett, pitcher and resident badass/dumbass for the Red Sox. Just some random sketch I decided to do. I really wish that I could take an art class some time, because everything that I feel I have big problems with are like...rudimentary drawing techniques, namely shading and folds. Here's my attempt at real life drawing, though.

EDIT: oops, forgot to put image tags.

I didn't mean truckers as an insult. Your art style is awesome. It's nice to get a change from crappy anime once in a while.

Thanks, Kav. I was just kinda amused with the term because I wasn't sure what you were getting at, and also because I don't think I've ever heard anyone describe stuff I draw as such :O

all three guys look virtualy the same <<''

I can sorta see where you're coming from with the first two, but not so much the third. My reference pictures were Harrison Ford, Jonathan Papelbon, and...well, Josh Beckett respectively, three guys with very similar ethnic roots. I think I might've made Kurt a little more built than I wanted, but other than that, can you tell me some ways that I can make them look a little more distinguishable (mostly the first two, as Josh Beckett will...not be in my RPG, sadly)?

Face Structure (longer chin, less chubby, more of a forehead), proportions of the eyes, mouth, and nose, defining features (wrinkles, frecks, stubble, sideburns.)

Their eyebrows, eyes and nose look alike, not the same, but very close. Which is already a lot.

Do the first two live off of pure testosterone and protein or something?
And their eyes are vastly too small for their heads, a head tends to be 3 eyes wide.
They all look alike with chins the size of billboards.
