Commercial Website for a business. PAID PROJECT

Untitled-3.jpg

Hey guys.

I once thought I was a great web designer but I never kept up with the trends, so now that I've moved on to writing and art and all the fun little things in between, I've really lost my touch out there. So my business partner and I are looking for a web designer who really knows his stuff.

If you'd like to know a hell of a lot more about the business, check out: http://rmxp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=61169

A brief summary: We live in a very small area called Star Valley Wyoming. There is one high school and one middle school and not a lot of things for those kids to do. There are hundreds of underage drinkers in the area, not to mention the dozens of drug addicts. So we've decided to build a business around getting these kids off the street, out of the bars, and into a fun environment that isn't a bowling alley. We're creating a gaming lounge complete with two rooms filled with tons of video game consoles, an entire room dedicated to video games, new and old, all available to rent. A room for trading card games, board games, table top games, pool/billiards, air hockey, and even late night card games for the adults. In the back we have a warehouse for paintball and an in depth point/ranking system so their hard work and money goes to show for something. We'll also have Halo, Rainbow Six, Call of Duty and more tournaments and eventually we'll develop online teams for each game that kids around the valley can try out for.

And of course, I want to start a game design team based on RMXP/VX which means a lot more registered members here.

What the website needs:
The website will be an amazing collage of everything we offer. I'm not positive what the layout needs to look like, and if you're creative enough, you can do a mock up and we'll give you some input on it obviously and let you know if you're on the right track.
What the website needs for sure though, will be as follows:
- A link for each event
- Paintball
- Consoles
- Game Rentals
- Tabletop
- Miscellaneous
Under each link we need a calender to show upcoming events, including tournaments, reserved dates for parties and such, and other events. We need a way to edit these simply by either accessing the ftp, or maybe a simple program or template that we can edit these and then upload the updated form. Every day with a sheduled event needs to be clickable so we can add a description. (A hover description would be awesome too.)
Along with the calender, we need links that will allow the users to register for a tournament with up to 3 other people for console tourneys, and 7 other people for paintball. We need a link that allows the users to see what rentals we have in stock, be it video games, or paintball equipment, and near there, a place to reserve a piece of rented equipment, or preorder something.

other than that, there are a few requests that we're really wanting. Such as, a way to text our cell phones when someone registers a team, reserves a date, preorders, or anything like that. That way, we can really be on top of things and know exactly who wants what at all times.

Another thing we really need is a membership system. We have a bronze, silver, and gold membership program that can be payed monthly. We want to use membership cards with magnetic stripes so they can spend points on their card, add points to their card, or just so we can make sure they have a membership before we let them take a game rental for two weeks. I wouldn't mind setting up the payments online using the website, or even just adding an account number on the card and using the website from behind the counter to check all that stuff, points, membership plans, payments, and everything. Perhaps an easy way to edit their accounts would be to give us admin passwords that allow us access to add points to their account, change their address, phone number, account type, charge their account for missing games, and so on. I think that would be the simplest way. Yet, they could use their chosen password at home, or even at a computer in the store to check their points and stuff.

If you have a better idea, or a simpler way, we're totally open to hear about it.

Note: We would never need more than 4 digit account numbers, I can almost guarantee. Not unless we're open for sixty years and we become the next Salt Lake City. Very unlikely. XD
