CoD4 is hardly about the guns you pick. If you have no skill you're going to get the crap beat out of you no matter what weapon you choose. The M16 is probably the overall best gun to use in any situation, and you get that at the very beginning. You also get stopping power, which, again, is a very good choice.

As for hackers, I play on 360, so I've little experience with those. GoW's multiplayer is fine, too, if you can avoid the chainsaw nooblets. Still, it does get annoying hearing geeks yelling at you saying, "Stop being a chainsaw whore you freaking NOOB!!"

But lets keep this on topic, shall we? I'm getting it for 360 for two reasons:

1: My comp SUCKS
2: I'm too used to consoles to go back to being any good on PC.

A thousand times this. I'm on my 7th Prestige in COD4 and any single assault rifle will do absolutely any job. The MP always comes out to a game of simple chess; be two steps ahead of your opponent. For instance, when you are having a sniper dogfight with someone across the way, crouch down out of the way, send them a gamer message saying 'Look behind you' after a few minutes if you're sure they're camping there, and more often than not they stand and look around, easy shot. The whole game is pre-emptiveness and reflexes whether you're holding the P90 or the AK.

Quite simply everything. I completed the campaign in 3 hours, the limited edition holds nothing I would have wanted, and I really hate the multiplayer system.

For everything in Multiplayer is fair (unlike Gears of War  )

In CoD4 the newbs will start off with shitty guns which dis-courages them from playing, and get owned by the nerds with the golden-plated AK-47's a Deagles & shit, which furthermore discourages them from play.

I don't see that the starting weapons are bad. Actually, the MP5 is the best SMG in the game. You might think it is the P90 but that is because of it's high rate of fire. And the M16 is possibly the best Weapon w/ Stopping Power, being 1 burst kill. The only perk that should be discouraged, and never made is Juggernaut. I hate that perk, I never used it, and it makes no since, only 1 out of every 500 people use it (85% of those being scrubs) and also the best starting perks too, Stopping Power.
Not to brag, but on my 1st prestige on Rank 1 I went straight to Team Deathmatch on Vacant, on Ghost Class.
2 minutes into the match, 14 kill streak, and at the end I was left with 24 (Kills) - 3 (Deaths). Plus, all rank does
is show how long you have been playing and the stuff you've unlocked (excluding Camos and Attachments).
You've probably had a bad start to the game, or because you've never experienced it through Xbox Live.

SpookyMcGhost is basically right, CoD4 favors those with quick reflexes and sharp eyes. The Weapon means nothing everybody the only thing that matters, is the Guy whos holding the weapon. And my sensitivity is at 6 (Custom, 1 notch below high).

And off the replys, I'm am getting this for the 360, definitely because I've played Crossfire, a FreeWare FPS, and I'm not that good with a mouse at aiming. Unless Microsoft can make Vista and XP be compatible with Plug-in-Charge or wired Xbox 360 Controllers, I will stick with my 360

You forget Martyrdom. ALWAYS, discourage Martyrdom. Also, Eavesdrop is a pretty freaking useless perk. Most people either know what to do already or talk in party chat instead of discuss anything worthwhile in game to hear.

Yes, also Eavesdropping, but Martyrdom should not be discouraged. You should know when to take it off and put it on
(Hardcore=It should definitely be off)
