I can't remember whether it's it's Final Fantasy VII or IX where you could play coop in the battles.
I just remember it as really strange.

wtf. no, jbrist. player 2 chooses what character he/she/wyatt wants to play as, and when it's that person's turn, he/she/wyatt can do whatever.

and yeah ven i have the snes version too, you just do it on the config and select co-op
and you can split the characters in battle

Yeah so we bought sacred 2. The xbox 360 port of this game is ugly as shit and the map zooms out ridiculously far on coop. Diablo 1 looked better than this game and that was made almost fifteen years ago and can be played on a pentium one win 95 machine. What the fuck is this doing on a second generation console? This could've been a ps2 game. Not to mention that its ambience and story is banal uninspired shit. Gonna have to sell it back and rue over my lost twenty bucks in the process.

we did; it really isnt very fun
for one i can barely see the sprites/can only tell the diff between the protagonists and the baddies by the little glowcircle over them
for another the menu system is horrriibblleeeee/the bad guys can still attack you while you or the other player is in it, and since the badguys keep coming randomly, it's impossible to know when it's safe to stop and really configure yourself
for another the spells and shit are boring/there aren't many at all
no quick potion button??? maybe im missing something here but holy shit guys
all you have to do to fight is hold down a button... yawn
the quests are presented to you in a very vanilla textual format that i dont feel like reading

Quick potions is in, you have to assign it to the up, down, left or right buttons (i think) and no.. there aren't enough spells. Game is so damn boring
