Cloud Strife (rate)

I suggest looking over various tutorials in pixel joint or looking over a few templates as reference regarding about anatomy and the head. Your hair looks pretty much weird. Try looking at different sprites as reference. Heck try editing them first if you have to.

It's quite awful.

Let me follow that up so you don't think I'm an awful person:

The lines are incredibly straight; there is no shading whatsoever; the hair is green, and, likewise, completely unshaded; the head is shaped like a smushed marshmallow; the facial features are completely spaced without thought of any kind where they ought to go; and his walk suggests that he's merely shortening his legs (they don't look like they're bending, what with no shaded knees and all) and bending his arms.

I highly suggest looking at several tutorials for spriting, and perhaps, instead of immediately trying to make your own, using an RTP sprite as a base so you can see the general shape of a good sprite and how shading then gives the sprite dimension.

I agree it isn' the best, and my shading could use some work (or maybe allot). I just got back into pixel art (I haven't touched it in a good 2 years), and I forgot mose of the stuff I used to know. Not to mention I'm used to drawing manga characters (which I shade with blur tools to get presice colors), and making web design projects. I'll take a few tutorials, and the next sprite will be better...

LOL sorry burst i actually burst out laughing. Is this guy taking the piss or what? he is obviously joking with that sprite XD

Please, I think he gets it. The next person to mention that the sprite is of a low quality without explaining why and offering the OP tips on how to IMPROVE is getting a warning.
Don't beat a dead horse, please.

-.- Sorry kid, but it's no good, maybe practice a little, its not really realistic it looks like some pictures thrown together on ms. paint, I recommend you get Photoshop, work on the hair so its not to big, and make it more realistic :D
