Woot! I inspired a topic!!
Personally (and I haven't read through any of this because: 1. I already did the research before doing it to my son, and 2. I just wanna make a quick point)
Circumcision is less a religious choice and more a medical one. My wife and I are both Christian (She's more of one now that we've gotten married and had a kid) but we nipped the pee pee merely because of health reasons. She works in a hospital, and deals with old men who are not circumsized, and she tells me some pretty nasty horror stories. Plus, I didn't much like the thought of my kid having a yeast infection (Yes, MEN can get them. And it's rather common for uncircumsized men to get them) at age 12 or something.
**EDIT**
Ok, so I skimmed a little too...and there are several health benefits to it, and anyone who ever tells you there is a loss of feeling to sex when you get the foreskin removed, obviously dosen't know what they talk about. I last longer than most other guys (Maybe it IS loss of nerves, but it still feels great to me) and I'm able to consistently 'deliver' as it were. But as for pain and feeling 'less of a man'...I think that's also a load of bunk, because the only reason a person should feel less is if the actual size (Not the skin) were smaller :P
