Huge improvement, but still very awkward. Aside from the very unnatural idle post (which conflicts with the side pose and the front animation frames), the crotch stands out as being really weird. You also have some pretty hefty pillow shading.
Your color choice on the example sprite seems to generally have way too low of a contrast. I can see two colors in the hair in the 1x (which are still hard to make out, a duller monitor would easily show only one color in the hair), but zoomed in I can see that you actually used three.
