Character Template Critique

[Zatosai]

After looking at Kaiser's and Shadax's templates, I felt inspired to create my own last night. All I have is MSPaint, and you can see what I edited from,a charset I made for 2k , and I put alot of effort into it and I would like to have feedback from the masters.

Personally, it reminds me more of an old adventure game than an rpg.

And the charset I started with, completely original. What a transformation. Too bad it took me like 2 hours to improve.

the first one looks a bit odd, but i dont know why.
the second reminds me rpg maker 2kX sprites

The first one is...spiky. He looks like a mutant with alot of spikes. Make his skin a little more linear. He also looks a bit big for an average man.

The second one has a torso a little too large and i kinda...pixelized.

The second one WAS from 2k. I made it and used the conversion utility.

The first template is big because he supposed to be a muscular template. If you look closely, he's got some pretty big biceps.

~R~, that comic is hilarious! If you could tell me whats funky, I would appreciate it. The character walks pretty well.
