Game: Legend of Gazia
Genre: RPG ~ Medeival/Fantasy
My request is rather long and I understand that no single person is going to want to do the whole bunch for free. While my game IS in its early stages, I am looking to commission some sprite artists to work on what I need.
~What I need and details~
{Sprites}
-Style can be RTP or other. What I mean by other would be along the lines of The Inquisitors work (skillwise) I dont want washed up gradiant skinned sprites that quite honestly look like crap. I am looking for GOOD/FINAL work.
{Battlers}
-Minkoff style. This is quite obviously a basis for how they fight in my CBS. Of course there are many different styles of Minkoff characters. I am not looking for battlers with sprite heads pasted onto a body. As posted above, I am looking for FINAL work.
I really do prefer that we don't use the RTP but hell, I might like what you got so surprise me. The only detail that absolutely MUST be followed is the RTP character set size. Anything above RTP height won't look right with my tile sets.
{Commission}
~Now I mentioned above that I am willing to commission an artist or two for the work. Well, the details with this will have to be made through pm. I am able to pay through paypal and by mail (I'd prefer not to).
{Payment}
~RTP sprite: Negotiable. I have 16 characters.
~Custom Sprite: Negotiable. I have 16 characters.
~Custom Battlers: Negotiable. I have 16 characters.
*Now of course I always accept free work if you plan on releasing any work you do for me to the public. Any spritework that I pay for, I will not permit to posted on any board or website. The transaction is solely between myself and the artist.
I DO fully intend to finish my game within a year which is more than enough time to come up with more orders for certain individuals who are worthy of a prolonged partnership. I understand that not all artists will be able to live up to my standards and I can accept that. I will critique your work as I am an artist myself and I do so without the intent of sounding rude.
{Concept Character "Via Reet"}
-This is a character from my game (concept art will change as I do not own rights to this image)
--As a sample of the work you can do, I would like to see you post 1 frame of this character in my thread, either character sprite or battler sprite.
~~On a side note, Via uses a rope dart weapon which is essentially a blade (knife, razor, etc etc) on the end of a long string or chord. (For those working on a battler)
