Character Fusion, sort of.

I was thinking in my game to have Chracter A combine with Character B, and with the cost of MP, be able to come together and form 1 character. (so if there were originally 4 characters in battle, there would now be 3.) It would have different, more powerful attacks, AND be able to break apart, and become Character A and Character B again.

Is this possible with scripting?
