character and state ID's?

Skill Shop

Ive noticed that with that ^^ and other scripts it asks you to replace the id's of characters with your own... and my question to everyone is, How do I know what my state/character id is?

$game_temp.shop_goods = [skill_ids]
$scene = Scene_SkillShop.new

replacing skill_ids with the skill ids you want the shop to sell

He's looking for you to supply the ids(indexes) of which skills to show in the shop_goods. So for example you have 10 skills in your database you want the last five to show in the shop goods.

$game_temp.shop_goods = [5..9]
$scene = Scene_SkillShop.new

but you could have a list like the following as well:

$game_temp.shop_goods = [0,2..4,8]
