Changing fonts?

I was wondering how to change the font in VX I already tried by puting this line:

Font.default_name = "MyFontHere"

under this line:

$scene = Scene_Title.new

But it only changed it for the title screen. So any help here guys?

Place the line above the begin in Main. You don't need it inside the begin and end code block for it to take effect. Although is should work where its placed where it sounds like you are describing. Do you have any custom scripts that alter the menus installed? They might be overriding your font name assignment.

Nevermind I figured it out. The Neo Message script wouldn't let it work, but the script itself could change the font. So it's all good now. I should have looked harder, sorry for the bother.
