Change Direction Move

Can someone teach me how to change the Direction key (like the movements in rpg maker 2003) because i gonna use this sprites http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/1141/200811183464613km0.th.png[/img]

For Example : if i click Right Arrow key the char will goes down (not goes right)

Reiven, it would probably be easier and more efficient to just edit the sprites to face in the proper directions for use in RMVX (also those sprites are very very bad).
