That about sums it up for me. I prefer more muted colors so I like the pallet. I think that the characters may look better though if they weren't stretched out quite so much. Maybe a 3-4 pixel increase on the limbs and torso should be enough to help distinguish them from the RTP. The really stretched ones seem ill-proportioned and in need of calibration. I like the style though.
I always planned on making them a little taller. Or at least, the adults. I was hoping ominous was going to do this but I havent heard from him. So I'll prolly do it myself later, but due to the sheer volume(180+) I simply dont have the patience at the moment to do it myself.
I get some people not liking these cus afew are rather ugly, but (and this is no newsflash) many people in the world are ugly, big nosed, scarred, blackeyed, big eared, etc. They're not represented often enough from a neutral scale(as in, ugly doesnt equal evil despite what anime or Anne Raynd might dictate otherwise)
And all the humanoids are human, including the RTP elves and whatnot.
The set will be released publically come the first official demo of Mark of Redwulf. They're not all done, Im just sort of doing them as the story requires them so they wont really be finished till the demo is. A month or two, tops.
