What is Celestial Dreams?
Celestial Dreams is a brand new roleplay server for Minecraft with a unique and complex fantasy setting containing four cities, six races, and more than 2000 years of detailed history. We strive for excellence in all things, from the builds that are available for people to use and explore to the interactions of the players, themselves.
What can I do on the server?
This is a Roleplaying Server. That means everyone on the server plays a specific character they have created at all times. For some, this means simply mining, farming, or gathering resources. For others, it means hunting down monsters or protecting their homes. Still others become merchants or join their nation’s government. No matter what character you create or profession you choose, epic adventures of your own creation await you in the realm of Valnor.
That sounds interesting, but are there restrictions on what I can’t do?
Like with all structured servers, we have a specific list of rules that you must adhere to when playing on Celestial Dreams, but there are also a few other restrictions besides. Because this is not a standard survival or creative server, there is no free-building. The entire map is protected to keep people from griefing or scarring the landscape, but fear not! We have provided the players with four large and well built cities in which to live and play during their time on the server, and players can edit the buildings they have purchased in-game.
Celestial Dreams is a roleplay server, but does that mean RP is restricted only to the server?
Not at all. Even though actually being on the server is the best way to enjoy the world of Valnor, it isn’t the only way. We have provided online forums and a TeamSpeak voice chat server for the community to gather and enhance their roleplay.
You keep talking about Valnor. I thought the server was called Celestial Dreams?
It is. Valnor, however, is the name of the world in which Celestial Dreams is set. We have an extensive set of original lore developed just for the server, and it can all be found on our Wiki. There are six races, three nations, four cities, and one multiracial group of peacekeepers and justicars.
Ok, I’m intrigued now. How do I join Celestial Dreams?
First, you must register on our website, and then fill out an application. Once it has been approved, your minecraft account will be added to the server’s whitelist, and you can login with the provided IP.
Do I have to be an accepted member to post on the forums or join the TeamSpeak server?
No, you are more than welcome to do both at anytime. We welcome you to join us on TS so we can get to know you, and you can get to know us.
