Well I don't know how you would make the ranged attack go from the battler to the monster.
I do know that you can change the graphic of the animations to go from the right side of the screen to the left side of the screen.
I would feel that doing that would look stranger thou.
What I would do, is make no projectile animation and just make a new/different hit animation on the monster.
This way you can see the battler using a projectile move and then see the monster get hit with it.
To do this go to Tools--->Database---> (click on the "Aninations" tab at the top)
As a side note maybe you would want to add a screen flash as the battler shots the projectile.
you just got to find the animation for the battlers projectile move, so you can edit it.
