Caterpiller Party Members Move?

Well I want to know how you can make the party members move to like the side or something.

The main character is that blue person, and the 2 party members is the Girl and the Guy.

Usually, they follow the Hero [The one you control] and in a scene, you can make them move to the side like in the picture.

Can someone tell me how I can do this? It'll be much appreciated.

Well, I don't have much experience with the caterpillar script, but what I'd do is create seperate events for the other characters.
Switch off the caterpillar movement (if possible, like I said, don't know too much about it)
Set the events to through:ON
Have them go to the character
Change their graphics from blank to the characters, then have them move away from the character. Once you're done with the scene, do the same thing, but in reverse.

Do just that, and change the party members so that only the hero is there. You may have to do some conditional branching (which i do for basicly everything), but after you do the cutscene put the characters back in the party (again, with conditional branching). It's a long process, but it should work. I use Train Actor and that is what i do with it.
