Castle Crasher [awesome 2d beat'em'up

Behemoth (makers of Alien Hominid) have a cool video up of Castle Crashers; their new game to hit Xbox live.* It's a side-scrolling beat 'em up with an rpg/fantasy twist.* It looks like a really awesome throwback to older games like Golden Axe and Guardian Heroes and xbox live could use some more beat 'em ups.

Man, XBL is probably the best thing that ever happened to multiplayer in my eyes but I'm pretty jaded as I hate almost all forms of online gaming except for a few rare games where every user isn't a complete JADED ASSHOLE.

Oh yea, Alien Hominid wil also be an XBL game. I'm excited because AH is my favorite indie game.

This looks damn awesome. Just like with Alien Hominid, I adore the smooth graphics they achieve with the cartoony look and lighthearted take on murderous medevil adventures. Anyways... I hope this is a lot like Golden Axe, because I love that game. (A while ago I went to the military base and me, my brother, and three of his friends played Golden Axe for like 5 hours straight. Excellence)

AH an indy game? I saw it at the blockbusters so I thought they'd be doing reasonably well. Anyhow this looks cool, and just like every other xbox360 arcade game it looks about 10x more fun than the catelogue of fullon games they have so far.
PS the streaming on that site is awful
