Can't Remove RGSS-RTP

I am having a huge problem uninstalling RMXP's RTP. I deleted the folder the RTP was in. When I tried to reinstall the RT, there was a message saying I already had it on my computer. Of course, I thought, I haven't been to the control panel and uninstalled it properly. But every time I tried to uninstall or repair the RTP using the control panel, the set-up was in Japanese. I then couldn't uninstall the RTP or download a new one. I'm completely stuck, pelase help.

I have tried repairing, removing and reinstalling the RTP.

While I don't know Japanese, I have a fairly good guess at what it's telling you. I'm pretty sure it's saying it can't be uninstalled because it can't find the files. What you'll want to do is go into the registry, and search for "enterbrain" (without the quotes). When you find entries related to the RTP, you should delete them. Hopefully, that will enable you to reinstall the RTP.

Lol. Thank you very much Glitchfinder. I did that before I got this reply and it worked perfectly though I should warn others that once you have done, as well as searching RGSS registry, you will have to install by other means than the setup menu.
