Can't open VX games...

Yeah... Like the title says: I can't open VX games... I downloaded some demos and everytime I try to start the game my computer just opens the gamewindow and closes again right away...
Is this some known issue? I have never heard of it... What can I do to work around it? Could someone help me please?

Games made in the full version can't be opened in the demo version and vice versa. I believe its the same between the Jap and English versions too. A friend and myself had that problem last night actually.

Did you download the VX RTP? Obviously, the XP one won't work for it.

Stupid me... Can you give me a link to the RTP? I can't seem to find it.
