Can't open RPG Maker VX

I recently installed it on my new laptop I got last week, and it's been working fine until a couple days ago. Everytime I try and open it my computer goes extremely slow, and it end up telling me the file is corrupted. It says run a virus check then reinstall the program, well I've done both 3 times but nothing's working. I even downloaded a new RMVX file from that website, and it still says it's corrupted, even with what I did above.

Please help guys, on my other computer I was using this program all the time. But I really don't know what the bloody hell's goin on aye. I'm using Vista btw.

It's a problem with Windows, I think. It happened to me once, but when I formatted my comp and then installed it, it worked again fine.

Sorry guys, how do I do that? And if I format the comp will it delete everything I have? Btw thanks alot for the fast replies!

Formatting your comp means deleting your Windows and re-installing it. It seems that you have a bad virus on your comp.
