Cant open project now

Well yesterday it worked fine and i have saved it and reopened but when i opened up my computer and tryed to open the project file it just errors and says unexpected file format.


Can some1 plz help me :?

Is this a demo you downloaded that you are trying to open? If so you need the exact version. I.e. the legal 1.02e version to open 1.02e projects.

Are you using "Postality Knights" edition (i.e. a crack)? If so you will be unable to open projects made in 1.02 (and to be honest my suggestion to you is either buy the program or get a better crack).

i seached google and downloaded it from i site ( cant remeber name) but this has only happend to 1 of my projects and the version is 1.02a

Try making a new project
and copy the Game.project file into the Pokemon Essentails folder overwriting the old one.. it worked when that happend to one of my Projects.

well now it says " Failed To Load Script "

Make a new project, and copy the "Audio" "Graphics" "Data" folders only. If it still gives you the same error, then it's probably a script error.

The unexpected file format error typically means that one or more of your data files has been corrupted
If that's true, then there is no change of saving the corrupt files. (I do hope you have backups)

Changes are that not all data files have been corrupted.
I would suggest that you make a new project and then copy 1 file at a time from the data folder of your corrupted project to the new one and then run the project.
That way you can find which files are corrupted.
