The search tool is your friend. There is a thread with this same answer a couple of pages back, at the most. This same questions is asked a couple of times a month, at least at most points in RMXP.org's history. A demo probably won't help you. (And, you didn't even think to say what the problem was. I'll operate on the assumption that, like everyone else with a problem, you have audio, but no video) You're probably not using a video you made yourself. (I smell an anime video) Anyway, you have to have a video that is in one of the default windows codecs, not Xvid, or anything like that. If you don't have a video converter, you're probably out of luck. I would suggest you get something like the River Past Video Cleaner, and convert your video to one of the default Windows video codecs that came on your computer. (I think there might be some relatively good Intel ones, or something like that) If you can't do that, you're out of luck. Honestly, most people do NOT really need the video that they really want to put in their projects. They just want to make it look cool. (Which it usually doesn't)
