Can RMXP run on Vista?

i wannna know, can RPG Maker XP work on Vista ok? Cause RPG Maker VX has dorky graphics. But I'm at a crossroads: RPG Maker VX has a better interface and event creation and is easier, but it has dumb graphics! Even the trees look like the size of shrubs! But RPG Maker XP has a harder event creation and is harder and has three layered mapping, but the graphics look better. I was also thinking on Multimedia Fusion 2 for RPG game making, but I don't know how good it would be for that genre. Please help me!!!

Im not sure but is should work fine on vista. Download the trial and if it doesnt work than just uninstall intstead of activacting. And your right about the things you said, but you can export the sprites from XP and then re-import them into VX so that you dont have to worry about the frankenstein sprites, or you can download custom sprites.

I tried putting it on a flash drive before. Then it says it can't receive the registration code or whatever. Maybe if my computer had internet... but it probably wouldn't work like that anyways. Also, didn't they  say you can't import very much sprites into RPG Maker VX? (it thought the space was limited)

oh yeah u do need the internet for the activation. sorry, but the only way to get it to work IS with the internet. see if u can temporarily set up a LAN connection or if u have another wireless adapter a wireless connection temporarily. if not ull just have to stick with VX for now.
