Button Stop --> Repress

I was wondering if theres a way to stop while holding down a key...

Example: I hold down Left Arrow key and

Condition Branch: Left Button
Variable [] Set = 2

IF Variable = 2
Condition Branch: Left Button
Variable [] Set = 3

Is there a way to make it stop moving automaticly so instead you need to repress the Left button to continue the code. For RMXP
