Bulk editting images?

Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this.

I have 283 images that  need all resizing to 50% of their origional size (i.e. 10x10 becomes 5x5 etc).

I'm wondering if there's any way to do them all at once rather than having to edit each one individually. I don't have photoshop or anything like that (I have Fireworks MX 2004 but that's it). Any thoughts?

Its a shame that you don't have Photoshop because you can use Macros to do this so easily.

You need an image editor that can run macros or scripts. Check to see if GIMP or Paint.NET or something does that (though I doubt it). If not, drop me a PM, I can help you out.

just get photoshop you sort of need it to do anyting remotely complex with graphics and everybody has it. i dont get how anybody who does website stuff and rpgmaker stuff doesnt have photoshop its necessary

Irfanview might be able to do that...Although, I am not sure.

You can do batch conversions but I'm not sure about resizing. I'll have a look.
