Yeah, the next gamemaking contest will definitely be focused on a different maker, so we get a nice rotation of makers. Not sure which, yet. May have a poll on it to figure it out :D

May be a bit until we can pull that off. I'm pretty sure we're running the next .ORGy awards after this.

Well that was a lot of fun :D I just finished playing all your games, and I left comments on all your game threads. I also voted for 3 fun games that I felt deserved my vote.

Now I think I'm going to take a break, and get some feeling back in my figures. lol

Played nearly all of the games and there's soo much awesome ones.
I am flabbergasted how some people can achieve such nice work with only 100 events and some in a short period of time. Too bad I could only vote 3 times :(

One downside to some games is not taking into account that many people have azerty keyboards, so some some games were hard to play. ( alt+shift comes in handy here ;-) )

Boing - a really great concept that I want to study for touch games on mobile. This is essentially a one-button game that requires planning and strategy but with ultra simple controls. I could play this all day on my phone!
Thanks for the feedback, I am happy to share the .capx if I happen to be in the top 12.

Very cool - wish the movement got a little faster in the later levels, but very playable, and easy to use controls haha. :)
Thanks for playing my game and leaving feedback, I agree the movement could use a boost in later levels, although some people are having a hard time with the difficulty of the game. I might just add an easy/medium/hard more with increasing speed at higher levels.

One of the new features I'm working is a 'Buff-system', short effects such as speed boosts, bigger jumps, double jumps, lower gravity, slow motion etc...
This will hopefully add some interesting gameplay.

I'm sure you'll be in the top 12. I've seen several one-button games, but they were all similar to Canabalt. Your game require strategy and careful timing. Ultra cool.

I can't say I'm terribly surprised about the top-ranking scorers here on this vote (not saying who they are),
however I AM surprised that some of the entries aren't getting more votes (not saying which ones).

In any case, if your game isn't getting the amount of votes you thought it would, don't be down ... Remember that the public vote will only amount to +2 tie-breaking points, in case a tie-breaker is needed. The judges' scores are going to be much more of a reliable assessment :) <3

Maybe there is competition when they ask to vote for their personal support games for a chance to win.

But thanks for explaining, Venetia.

You mean selling my body for votes is ultimately not going to prove useful?

edit: Though in all seriousness, it may just be a perfect example of how important the marketing category is!
