My dad is working on the servers, so hopefully (cross your fingers) we will have it all up tomorrow evening around 6:00pm EST. This will give a week of free advertising for everyone! Sorry about the delay on this...I am going to be moving servers here in the next month and everything will then be my own problem if it breaks. Haha.

Haha.How did you guys get your graphics on your sigs? No mater how small I make my graphics that site says its to big, and just shows a black square. Then when I try to re-size with there editor it just makes the black square smaller Iv even tried re-sizing my graphics down to 16px * 16px with Photoshop , and the same thing happened. You just cant make them any smaller Maybe the site is just broken I will try again tomorrow.

I made mine with a 350px x 19px image file in GIMP, pretty much just fill the background with a gradient then paste my game's icon on the far left. Then I use http://www.userbars.com/design/step1.php to add the text and the shiny overlay.

Haha so could no one get the graphic upload working on that site? Cos I couldn't either, just played around with photoshop and made bits and pieces with the site X)

I too also plan to write up a blog article about this contest on my personal website (or more accurately as I call it, "blahblog"). I assume I too can link all of your userbars as a list of entries in this contest?
Wink: regarding your userbar, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to use the game's full name "Dungeon Security" so that it looks more complete since you have plenty of dark space there left. But that's just me XD

And on my games start page I went with Dungeon.Sec so I was going to change the name of my games thread to that if, and when I can find the time. Iv just been crazy busy between work, and trying to finish my game. That, and I never made a signature bar before. lol
Coolio. When you said dark and mysterious, an idea just flashed across me to use scrambled gibberish characters. Quite a fitting element for network horror theme lol
Crazy busy here too with work and study. I'm not a leet guru so I can't just punch one working line of event every other ten minutes; I have to properly sit down and be fully devoted to it for like half a day, hence my slow game updates but a big talking mouth.

Looking at the userbars ... I think I'd like to make the links to the contest entries as I'm going to show them in the voting thread and forum announcement header into them.
If someone doesn't have a 350x19 userbar for their entry, I may just slap one together for them, so they're all nice graphic buttons instead of text links.
(All of them should be 350x19 so they are uniform in size.)
So if everyone could get me their 350x19 userbar to me (i.e. this thread) for their entry before the 31st, I would really appreciate it! If I have to make one for you, it will be very basic, just a gradient and basic text

If anyone wants to take a whack at making it nicer, go right ahead. Here is the sprite I used to show the guy slipping and sliding. I'm clearly not much of an artist. :grin:
