Bridges

Anybody know how to make it so u can walk under a bride, and then climb up stairs and go over the same tile? j/w as ive seen it done in other games......the only thing i could think of was teleporting to a copy of the same map with diff tiles rules and then switching back.
 
You could create an identical tileset, with different priorities & passabilities, then use Ccoa's "replace tileset" script.
(good for large bridge, or lots of bridges)

Or, you could create the bridge with events, using a tileset image for the event instead of a characterset image. Change the "Through" & "Always on Top" settings when the player goes up or down the ladder.
(good for a small bridge)
