What it's About: Long ago people were born and trained at birth to kill. At the age of ten they have already mastered the skills to fight in war. They are then sent to war on the task to kill or to be killed. Out of war and destruction comes a city called Everdale, the city was made to be a Utopia. Many people have looked for it and tried to build it but all have failed. That doesn't mean that humans should give up on reaching Utopia. As long as we try there is hope! But the civilians living in Everdale will soon realize that Everdale is no where near a Utopia.
    Everdale is hidden in the Forest Of Eden, no one has found it but no one has gotten out of it. Why must they call it a Utopia when there is no freedom? Outside of Everdale is war, destruction, evil and countless obstacle. But how can you make a true Utopia without knowing the keys of not making one?
    Acting as knights, archers, mages or assassins, players are faced with the challenge of developing the skills and power of their selected characters, exploring a large variety of areas, towns and dangerous caves and interacting with other players.

You have a lot of mapping errors. Ground crystals up against the walls, and much-too-bright grass in caves. In addition, you also made a waterfall without an actual cliff O_O I like the town, though.

However, I do have this bad feeling that this is going to be just like the common MMORPGs - never to be actually completed, having no proper server support and the list goes on.

I hope we will be able to see this flagged as released, and not as trash-canned.

I just noticed this thred and I have to say that this look pretty good. Your a very good mapper indeed and I think people would really like this. Are the flying plants supposed to be vines growing and dangling from the bridge? If so maybe use only one part of the vine and not the full two squares.

Hm, I've been using Eclipse and Elysium for like a year and I'd
recognize the Mapname & Playername system, aswell as the font anywhere.
That's definately Eclipse, Elysium, Playerworlds of any other free 2D mmorpg maker based on Mirage.
Not that I mind, it looks fun.
Keep it up.

I LOVE eclipse, even though I have yet to finish a game with it, and it's mapping system sort of sucks. Good luck with this.

Hmm, if this is made with Eclipse then it's illegal to use the RTP graphics in it; this also needs moving to Game & Apps Dev. Although didn't someone move it from there origionally? Can someone confirm whether this was made in RMXP or not?

Wyatt isn't it fine to use the RTP for other projects as long as you've purchased the license from Enterbrain? (As in buy the program)

As for the game itself the mapping looks very nice, you've done a decent job on the forests and such. There are a few errors on the city map though, might want to take a look at that. The story doesn't really give a good feel for the world. Perhaps you should give more information on the classes also.

No, the EULA states it's ok to use it in RMXP and RMXP alone.

This game does look more promising than a lot of online projects out there, usually the mapping is sub par but in this case it's pretty decent. Just one note, on the houses, the darker strip shouldn't be there, that's intended for shadows. Other than that, good work.

Ah right, my bad. Yeah thats one of the errors I was referring too. Also the trees don't seem to have shadows, seems to stick out a lot more than is intended I think.
