[BM] Please Play For Me

I was just making some random song, and thought it sounded nice. It isn't for any particular album so I didn't add it to my resource thread.

Sounded kinda like a title screen theme, imo.

I like how peaceful this sounds. Aswell as title screen music I could see this as a silent cutsene BGM too, I won't be surprised if this comes to of use.

Congratulations, you just composed your best piece to date. Good job, bud. :)

Edit: Raise the volume, though, it's way to quiet in comparison to most MP3's. Also, for the backround instruments, make the notes crecendo (gradually increase in volume) for two measures, then decrecendo (gradually decrease in volume) for another two measures, so on so forth. It'll add depth to the song big time. Right now it's dynamicless.

Edit2: Oh, another idea. Make a low bass drum pulse every 8 counts, that'd be kick ass.

Please compose more music like this, it makes me happy. ^_^

This BGM... owns... it's absolutely beautiful, Mr. Panda... I usually don't like to do things like this, but... I'm going to have to use it now. There goes my completely 100% custom project. Are you happy now? Huh? Are ya?

Well, thanks everyone for the comments. Funny, how this song spontaneously came out of no where, and it's actually good. I don't usually make music this soft, so I didn't think it would get such good reviews. I guess my style is beginning to develop itself.

@Nin
Yay! I finally impressed you (Now for Illustrationism...)! Bass drum? Are you serious, I mean I can kinda vision it, but it seems like it would only take away from the effect.

@BS777
Very happy ;)

@FoN
That'll probably be around sooner than you think.

Yes, I'm serious about the bass drum. A very light pulse every 8 counts, like a slow heartbeat.

Actually, make it two. One beat on the 'and' before the 'one' on the next measure, like:

(*'s around the bass drum beats)

1, 2, 3, 4, *pulse*|*(1)pulse*
One, two, three, four *and* *one*.

Basically an eighth note before the beat in the next measure.
I know you can't read music so I'm trying to explain it as best as I can. >.< Take musical theory class in your high school.

Very nice J street, i can imagine this being played in a quiet and warm inn, whilst someone is on the bed close to death surrounded by party members and villagers.

WOW... i was looking for something like that...

QUESTION: Can i use this as my Titlescreen Music.. with your Name at the bottom of the Screen ( Music by: The_JSTREET )?

Well Jstreeet, you’ve done it. I am impressed with this.

I enjoyed the slight detour from your “norm” that you took in this piece. The guitar parts aren’t overly complicated, and the orchestral parts (strings, oboe, flute) are lovely. The bell tree part was a very nice touch, bonus points for that.

The only little things I really have to point out are not huge issues. The first is the part around 49-50 seconds. There’s an inharmonic note that’s hit there and the cymbal roll sounds out of place (maybe a bit too loud/low). The second is not really an issue... I would have liked to hear it develop more and continue into a new part where it ended, that’s all.

I really like this one, man. This really should be a cornerstone for you - a building block in the establishment that is your music. And you ought to submit it to Sakari. ;)

PS - I'm sorry to have taken so long to get to this one. I've been so busy... bah.
