BLK MKT RTWRK RTRNS

This is what I've got after lots and lots of revision. Of course, this STILL isn't finished, as the bun is still stationary and I need to fix up the animation a bit. I think her chest is a bit exaggerated looking here, taking attention away from the face. The guys at pixel joint led the sprite in this direction, and my project manager approved, but I'm not too sure about it myself. The main problem this version fixes is the lean that the previous sprites had. It was tough to notice at first, but when you'd flip the sprite it was easy to tell that she was leaning a little too far forward.

Interestingly enough, not much had to be changed to get a west facing animation started. Of course this is still a very, very early version, but I've got the basic framework going and all I need to do is edit the sprites in the right places to make things look correct. This is what got me noticing the problems in Southwest; the right arm swings up entirely too high for that angle. This needs to be fixed.

You got your football in my football! A colored version of "Everybody's Football".

A delightful little man that dances with the grace of a ballerina. This is the colored version of Paisley Pete.

I hate you because this was my last pair of clean boxers :(

my sentiment exactly

Well well well, I'm back once again, so that means it's time for me to haphazardly dump more images into this thread. Let's get started:

Title: KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX ALPHA THREE THIRD STRIKE PLUS
Medium: Paint.NET
I'd probably be less bored with the series if they replaced Sora with Barrett. I'd be entertained by the sheer AWKWARDNESS of Donald and Goofy traveling around fantasy lands with an excitable angry black man with a key-blade-gun for an arm.

A sprite of Terra (FF3/6) that I doodled in web design class one day.

Title: Project Accordionman Logo V. 3
Medium: Illustrator CS2
The WIP logo for my game project. This is not an RPG Maker project.

Title: Rabid the Radioactive Birthday Bunny
Medium: Illustrator CS2
There were several mistakes in this drawing that were corrected in the 3D model I ended up making using this drawing.

Title: Heyew
Medium: Illustrator CS2
Heyew isn't my creation, but is the creation of my project manager, Jim.

Title: BLK MLK (Pronounced "Black Milk")
Medium: Illustrator CS2
Third party member, created by a friend, Quyen. I designed everything from the neck down 'cause Quyen never gave this guy a definite shape...

Title: BLK MKT (Pronounced "Black Market")
Medium: Illustrator CS2
A salesman and mercenary. He'll do nearly anything for the right price.

This one's a real mess. I'm gonna redraw it.

O LAWD IZZAT SUM Z AXIS

I still have to fix her feet, add her tail, add her fur collar thing and then a face, but I'm on my way. I intend to use this model to help me draw sprites from those hard-to-draw angles more properly. I have no intention of prerendering sprites because I don't like the way that looks.

I probably drew more stuff over all this time, but that doesn't really matter.

wow it's ''JIM'' the evil frog king, I really like al the character designs dude. They look awesome, wich reminds me I need to draw some good character designs at your oekaki sometime soon.

Well, The Frog King's name is actually "Ribbit", but yeah, he belongs to Jim. I always have so much trouble drawing that damned frog... All of Jim's designs are incredibly difficult for me to draw, despite their simplicity. Heyew's a freakin' sphere with some nubs for arms and a tentacle and I STILL can't draw him correctly. Thanks~!

Those are awesome. Fine mix of colors too. Luvin it~

The sora/barret combination was hillarious XD. Albeit kinda cool in a very weird way.

Um, he said he was just using the models for drawing reference, not as actual game sprites.

Which, is a great idea! If only I knew how to 3d model, maybe that would help with my crap drawings. Although I'm pretty sure that you'd have to have some decent drawing abilities to get that accomplished.

Heh, Lene, you'd be surprised how many people completely ignored the description for that model and jumped to all sorts of conclusions in the various places I posted this...
I'm pretty sure the purpose of the program Poser is to give you material to draw with. It provides basic human models of both adults and children that you can sort of edit to suit your needs... I used to use it at a college I was going to for a summer program, and it's quite helpful. The downside to making the model myself is that I have to rig it now, and I don't really know how to do that properly yet. I'll learn soon enough how to make a basic rig so I can pose this thing, hopefully.
For the record, anyone who's reading this and doesn't understand yet, I have a distinct preference for 2D.

Speaking of not reading the description, here's another DS Mockup I made the other day!
http://www.oekaki.vgscholar.com/pictures/OP_1131.png[/img]
Title: METEOS ATTACK
Medium: Some Japanese version of ShiPainter

Specs:
Time Taken: > 6 hours
Colors used: 90
Colored/Drawn in: Some wacky Japanese version of ShiPainter
Format: 256 × 192 (x2 - Nintendo DS)

Some pixel art done to kill some time at my aunt's place. Done in an oekaki program to prove it's pixel art, but the animation doesn't work properly... ~_~; I guess that's what I get for doing it on an unfamiliar oekaki.
I think I went a bit overboard with the dithering, though, but it was mainly something to eat time while I stayed at my auntie's place, with her inferior technology that didn't work with my portable hard drive ;_;...

Of all the many, many galleries that I uploaded this to, it was removed from FurAffinity because "Game screenshots are not allowed". They didn't read the description and thought this was an actual screen. I was pretty happy when that happened, but there are still many errors and things I overlooked in this mockup. I had to do the dithering by hand because the texture box stopped working after I filled in the grid, and I had to do all the blocks and even the Geolytes by hand because the copy function stopped working properly. I drew this picture on a Japanese Nintendo hentai oekaki... apparently they didn't update their copy of ShiPainter or something. I dunno.

The second screen. What game was that from again? Because I remember playing it (back on SNES) and it had kickass music.

EDIT: Hmm, interesting about Poser btw. I should look into it one day. ^_^

EDIT #2: And oh btw, nice pixel art! (Duh) I really like the haze/mist/fog/cloud thingie in the first half of the picture.
