Blackbird Parfait || Sketchbook~

[[ Blackbird Parfait is not a name of a game, but what I call my sketchbook :3 Hey, they need titles too, don't they? ]]

For the most part, I'm not going to be posting older art here. New only~! Most of it will be concept sketches, speedpaints and so on, though I'm sure I'll stick some cged stuff in there. I'm currently waiting on my tablet to arrive in the mail (my last one died a horrible death. May it rest in pieces.) So, until then, I can only post sketches and uncleaned lineart. :3 I am still learning, but art is something very important to me, that I eventually want to make something out of. However, I know I still have eons to go, but I'm giving it my best shot. <3

very very cute stuff! and i really love the colors in your avatar & sig - they very pretty and vibrant. (also im feeling pretty neglectful for never giving my sketchbook a cute name like that :I)

the main thing that i can critique right now that's particularly noticeable in the first three sketches is that they all seem to have a "drifting eye" - where the eye farthest from the viewer is in the correct place, but the eye on the side that's facing us is much farther away from the nose, making the face look un-centered and slightly off-kilter

(i've seen it called basically "anime herbivore syndrome", as in the eyes are so far apart that they look like they're on either side of the head. like a savannah herbivore)

Anime herbivore syndrome xD Yeah, I'm still trying to work on that. :3 I used to have a serious trouble with making one eye a lot lower than the other, and so on.
