Black wont become transparent.

My RMXP wont make the color black transparent when I import any .png graphics (even if I right click the color to tell the program to make it transparent)

Any Idea whats causing this?  It happened twice now, I will try to reinstall it and see what happens.

Yes, the weird thing is I can make any other color transparent except black o.o

I've had this same problem before. 

I couldn't find any way to fix it other than changing the color I wanted transparent to something other than black. If I recall correctly I don't think black can be used as a transparency.

Black can be used as a transparency, in fact I believe it's the default transparent color. Try using the "clear" button when importing instead of actually clicking the black.

If that doesn't work, your only option is to go into an image-editing program and fill the black with a different unused color.
