Best Moments in a Video Game

KHII had a pretty homosexual ending to it imo. I would say gay but I wanna be specific to emphasize my point.

KH1's was awesome, though.

What about FFIX when you first met Black Waltz III and Vivi owned his ass on the airship and almost falling out before getting saved by Zidane. That whole sequence of events was breathtaking.

Also in Rogue Galaxy when

That last one was an obvious joke.

I have to say one of my favorite video game moments was beating the Water Temple from Ocarina. It was so satisfying!

For me it wasn't satisfying as so much it was,
"I've been playing the same dungeon for a month, looking for a single small key!!! NOW I CAN CONTINUE THE GAME!!!!"

The rest of the game seemed so easy after that,

Except for Gannons tower, that was mucho pwnage.

Which brings me to another great Video Game Moment, the entire End Sequence of OoT, complete with Gannondorf playing the organ like a true villian, the castle crumbling to pieces after you kill him, and then thinking you beat the game, only to have gannon reappear in giant evil piggy form, with full circle of fire, knock your sword a mile away, forcing you to fight with a hammer, and then Zelda randomly pwning with light arrows.


Yeah, just thinking about it makes me want to go play the whole game again.

I loved every minute of Disgaea, but holy shit was that ending BAD. Also, Odiin Sphere pissed me off too much to finish it, lol. Beautiful game, just too tedious.

It has to be Shadow of the Colossus. The first time I fought one of the Colossusi, it was truly epic, unlike anything I ever felt before in a Videogame.

Defeating Envious lust in SH3:FTNW my party was about lvl 60 man the fight was awsome ..
The first time I ever needed to pay EXTREMELY defensive in a game ..
i needed to be sure everyone hp was full before attacking it . if not i could spend 6-7 turn getting out of miseri ..

1- UFO: Enemy Unknown. My favourite game ever, of course. Also known as XCOM: UFO defence, to you americans. A 1992 classic that included dynamic lighting, destructable terrain, shedloads of atmosphere, and a disturbingly high difficulty. Several moments are great, but the highlights would be:
- Seeing Ethereals for the first time infiltrating your base, going 'oh sh**!' as your entire squad are all mind raped and turn on one another.
- Arming a Human constructed UFO (Firestorm) with Plasma cannon and watching it blow the crap out of a vicious alien battlecruiser. Terribly liberating after months of you being shot down by technologically superior forces.
- Your first ever Night Operation in a Terror site. Damn scary! Don't turn the lights off!

My most memorable moment was the first time I fought Cryssalids. That was horrifying.

Ace Combat Zero for PS2

On the final mission Zero, when PJ gets shot down and you have to duel Pixy one on one.  And after you shoot him down, and he's telling the story, he thanks you for the chance to fight.

My most memorable moment was the first time I fought Cryssalids. That was horrifying.

I considered that as part of first ever Night Operation in a terror site, since thats usually your first encounter with them:

Lights blown out by an alien grenade. The screams of civilians you can't possibly save. Snakemen hiding behind a lamp-post bathing the area in plasma fire. Crysallids in the supermarket. They crash through the doors. Twenty rounds fail to hit anything in the dark during reaction time and you all die.

Sheer awesome.
