Best DS Games?

Well this topic is, just like the title says, asking you the people of RMXP.org to tell the rest of RMXP.org what you think the best Nintendo DS games are.

A basic template of game discription-

Title:
Genre(action,RPG,Puzzle,shooter,other):
Why you think it's good(What features stand out?):
Does it have online/Wifi capabilities:

Short Bio of what the game is about:

If there is anyother topic about this can a mod/admin please direct to it.

The DS has a great range of amazing games, it'd take far to long to pin point a deal of them. To simple it down I think that most games on this list are a great deal of the best DS games.
However a must for any DS owner has to be the Pokemon Pearl/Diamond games.

I'm not really a huge fan of the DS, but I'm going to have to say without a shadow of a doubt that the best game on it is Pokémon Diamond/Pearl.

Why= Because it is? lol

Luminous arc, any good RPG fan with an DS definetly HAS to check this out, it's the first time they actually have voice overs for DS, great game imo. It's an stratagy rpg, which is overused these days, but w/e, still pretty good.

after that, I'm going to just say pheonix wright.

The Ace Attorney series are always fun! Here's a quick list I came up with

TITLE: Ace Attorney (1,2, & 3)
GENRE: Drama/Novel (?)
WHY IT'S GOOD: Because it's a freakin' lawyer game! The game really makes you think, and it has some great localization!
ONLINE?: Nope.

TITLE: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
GENRE: RPG
WHY IT'S GOOD: It's the next Pokemon game. The monsters in this one actually look as good as Red/Blue Gold/Silver. (I HATED the Hoenn region)
ONLINE?: Yes

TITLE: New Super Mario Bros
GENRE: Action/Adventure
WHY IT'S GOOD: Imagine the old school Mario bros mixed in with new graphics, new level designs, and a can of whoop ass.
ONLINE?: Nope.

TITLE: Yoshi's Island DS
GENRE: Action/Adventure
WHY IT'S GOOD: It's a great sequel to a classic game for SNES. Also features a newer selection of babies with new powers, etc. Fun stuff.
ONLINE?: Nope.

TITLE: Final Fantasy III Remake
GENRE: RPG
WHY IT'S GOOD: A classic RPG game remade with cutesy 3D graphics. A must for any FF fan.
ONLINE?: Nope.

Title:Tales of Innocence (SHUT UP)
Genre(action,RPG,Puzzle,shooter,other):Action-RPG
Why you think it's good(What features stand out?):Because it takes what was good about Tales of Legendia, Tales of the Abyss, and Tales of Eternia, mixes it together, and gives you a team of unique characters. Controlling the healer isn't a chore!
Does it have online/Wifi capabilities:I believe so, but only limited to item trading...I think.

very, tales of innocence looks absolutly amazing, did it come out yet? Well, I just hope that they translate it into english, I'm defiently getting it when it does.

Don't bother with this unless you REALLY like Mario.  It's really boring and generic, has terribly designed levels, and you can beat the game in one 4 hour sitting.

I'm not joking.

the only game worth getting on the DS is pokemon d/p

i have about 10 or 11 DS games, and i only play pokemon.. SOMETIMES digimon dawn, but i've only got 20 hours on that compared to the hundreds on pokemon.

i have no idea why i keep going back to buy new DS games. they're always stupid. they've even managed to make a castlevania suck (portrait of ruin).

Title: Advance Wars: DS
Genre: Turn-Based Strategy Game
Why it's good: It's very addicting, I'm still playing the game today. Tons of stuff to unlock and to do...I don't think I've still gotten S rankings on story mode on every difficulty, lol.
Online?: Nope

Title: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Genre: Adventure
Why it's good: In my opinion it's one of the best looking games I've seen on the DS. Sure, it's a little on the easy side...and not that long. But the side-quests will keep you busy for quite a while. Oh, this game actually made me laugh out loud during some of the cut scenes.
Online: Yep

I'll add more later if I can think of any others.

Title: FFXII: Revenent Wings
Genre: RPG
Why it's good: If you ever played FF: XII, you might have thought to yourself at some point, "Square Enix, wtf did you do to final fantasy?" and then you play this, a sequel to FFXII, and you think to yourself "Square Enix, I forgive you". That, and the amount of gameplay is just astonishing.
Online: no

The storyline has never been the strong point of Tales of games, excluding Destiny. The gameplay is what makes Tales of different. And in that respect, ToI is great. Which is why TotT failed.

I really don't understand why people like pokemon diamond/ Pearl so much  ??? (no hard feelings to the people who do). I mean, its basically the same thing over and over again. You get 8 badges, you beat evil people (team galaxy, or something), get a legendary pokemon, and go to the elite 4. It's a good game series, only it gets kinda repetitious. I loved Pokemon Gold/ Silver because that's the one that really stands out (getting 16 badges, travelling from Johto to Kanto, finding and beating Ash and his pikachu he used gameshark on, etc.). Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, however, had really the same concept. I loved the little new feature, like the global trading place, the underground, but gameplay wasn't so good

The best part of D/P is the wifi battles. Beating the gym leaders, E4, etc is always easy... if you get stuck, you just grind for awhile and then try again. But fighting players on wifi, you actually need to have a good strategy (and likely an EV-trained team). Yeah, the old games had multiplayer, but since you had to meet physically to play, it was harder to find someone around your skill level. You're missing out if you buy pokemon and don't give the multiplayer a good try. :D

Anyway, (the rest of) my favorites:

Title: Lost In Blue 2
Genre(action,RPG,Puzzle,shooter,other): Survival adventure
Why you think it's good(What features stand out?): You're stranded on an island, and you must work together with your castaway partner to survive and escape. There are many different ways to escape, and while you're there, there's lots to do. You can get food through foraging, hunting, fishing, trapping, or poking at the ground (mm, turtle meat). You can also build furniture, huts to live in, and more (won't reveal for spoilers). Most tasks have a microgame associated with them, so the more you develop your skill at a game, the more successful you'll be. One of those microgames includes talking to a gorilla.
Does it have online/Wifi capabilities: Local wireless minigames (ie nothing good)

Title: Rune Factory
Genre(action,RPG,Puzzle, shooter, other): Farming + Fighting fantasy RPG
Why you think it's good(What features stand out?): It's harvest moon on crack. :D Instead of raising animals and befriending sprites, you catch monsters, and unlike the old HM games, there's actually a *plot*. There's also combat and skill levels (many new skills, like crafting, pharmacy, and decoration have been added to cooking). Oh, and you can ride buffalo.
Does it have online/Wifi capabilities: online and local. Item trading and pictochat.
You'll need to use it to marry one of the girls, unless you're a very, very good fisherman.

Pokemon is a very deep game. The whole E.V. thing adds a TON of strategy and the fact that it's online means there's always an opponenet. Plus, it's fun by itself, catching pokemon and going on a grand ol' adventure. And the graphics are a massive improvement over last gen.

Title: Bleach: Blade of Fate
Genre: 2d Fighter
Why It's Good:The fighting system is very in depth and is easy to learn but takes a good deal of practice to master. All characters are very well balanced, with no one fighter being superior to the others, and the are many characters to choose from. Many lengthy combos can be pulled off, and the game also looks beautiful, with attacks looking just like they did in the anime almost.
Online: Yes.

Title: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Genre: Action/Adventure
Why it's good: Stylus control is TOP NOTCH. You get used to it in seconds (well, I did.) Great story, great battles, great bosses... the only crap thing about this game is returning to the first temple over and over and OVER... but it made itself up with the last battle.

Title: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Genre: Platformer
Why it's good: Metriodvania again! But it works for the series. Collecting souls and items and weapons has been perfected, and even though the stylus isn't used a lot, it still has good story and gameplay.

Title: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Genre: Platformer
Why it's good: I just really, really liked this one. It has some difficulty, and the different modes are very fun.

Title: Pokemon D/P
Reasons are as everyone stated already.

But really don't take my advise since I'm a Zelda/Castlevania/Pokemon fangirl... but do take my advice since they're some of the best games for the DS.

Title: Mario Kart DS
Genre: Racing
Why you think it's good: Classic Nintendo characters; racing!
Does it have online/Wifi capabilities: Yeah

Short Bio of what the game is about:

involves various characters from various Mario games racing each other in go-karts on tracks themed from locations in the Mario series. Less realistic physics, and the use of various weapons and or items to achieve victory differentiates kart racing games like Mario Kart DS from more realistic racing games.

Title: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!
Genre: Rhythm / Music
Why: Uber fun! Awesome hairstyles and many anime theme songs. :p

Title: Rune Factory 2
Genre: RPG
Why: Err pretty much that theres heaps to do in the game and many side quests
