Best Album You Have Ever Heard

Hey guys.

I'm wondering - What's your peak in musical taste? What's the musical album you just can never forget?

I want you guys to tell me your favourite album and a small description about it, just to kill my curiosity.

I'll start.

Album - The Wall by Pink Floyd

Description - I just believe this is the best album ever conceived. The story behind it, the feeling of the main character, (it is a conceptual album) and all the songs, all of them combine perfectly with the feelings they need to express. Starts with a great song, and ends with another even better, and has some of their most known songs, such like, Another Brick in The Wall Part II and Confortably Numb.

I could've also chose The Dark Side of the Moon, by Pink Floyd, for my favourite album, but in this moment, I'm just addicted to The Wall.

Album : Where myth fades to legend by Alesana

Description : Though I'm a big fan of Alesana (there my favorite band) .
I have to say this is there best . compared to the album  'on frail wings of vanity and wax' this album had none to olmost no bad songs .
And the song 'All night dance parties in the underground palace' gave me a cold chiver .
Though Alesana is screaming a lot less on this album (compared to 'alesana' or 'on frail wings of vanity and wax') i really like this album .

Even if you aren't a fan of the genre some songs you will like .

Sabotage/Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Electric Ladyland by Hendrix, The Wall by Pink Floyd, Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy, fuck, there's so many kickass ones. But Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son by Iron Maiden has to be the best.

 

[Buster]

The Second Stage Turbine Blade by Coheed & Cambria, simply because there is not a single song on it that I don't like, and I will never skip any song from that album if it shows up on my iPod (not counting the intro, of course, although I usually listen to that anyways).

Mellon Collie by smashing pumpkins. Best CD of the 90s. Or any Rise against CD... havent found one song by them that i dont like. same with smashing pumpkins. Oh wait... the WHITE ALBUM! great CD

T.I's King, Trap Muzik, and T.I vs. T.I.P albums.  I guess I'm the only one here who likes
rap.

Blueprint 1 - Jay-Z. Kingdom Come - Jay - Z. And pretty much anything Eminem.

 

[Mundane]

Lateralus by TOOL. It is their true masterpiece.

best thing i can think of is shpongle's 'are you shpongled'. it makes forza2 endurance races bearable.

 

[Devon Jacobs]

Chamillionaires "Webbed Minds" for rap. Flyleafs uh "Flyleaf" for rock (sue me).
And Jo Ho's "The ex wife's husbands girl." cuase I was there during its production. Anything with mixed styles in it.

So many great songs including: Going Under, Bring Me to Life, and My Immortal

Enya - Sheppard Moons
Two words: Caribbean Blue

Smashmouth - Smashmouth
First CD I ever owned, and I know all the songs by heart.  My favs are Shoes 'N' Hats, Sister Psychic, and Disenchanted

Linkin Park - Meteora
I know there are some people here that detest Linkin Park, but I love them.  I really like this album because of songs like Numb, Breaking the Habit, Faint, Somewhere I belong, and several others (most of the album)

t.A.T.u. - 200 Km/h in the Wrong Lane
Out of both versions, (Russian and English), I like the Russian one better, mostly because 30 Minut is my favorite t.A.T.u. song ever.  I have both and love both.  If you ever get the chance, definitely listen to both versions.

most people simply can't appreciate the dance/pop masterpiece that is 20km/h in the wrong lane. truly awesome stuff. if you want to market underage girls to other underage girls (and guys like moi), this is how you do it.
